Why take tuitions? Isn't the school enough?

Why take tuitions? Isn't the school enough?
Many parents think that their child is set if they have managed to admit him in a decent school. They feel that the school will provide all the necessary guidance and resources for their child to play, learn and grow. However it has been proven by many psychologists and leading educationists that school is not enough for everyone. It is possible that the school's guidance proves to be enough for some children but it is not applicable to everybody. This is so because children do not behave in the way grownups do.
They do not know how to extract material out of their teachers. They don't know what is necessary and what is irrelevant and they behave according to their whims and fancies. So many psychologists believe that many children need an extra bit of care in addition to what they have been already provided by their respective schools. It is not a problem of the child but it is very natural. This is what is believed by the leading children psychologists. This is so because not everybody is made for the things they are imposed. Some children are great in moths but they may be weak in literature; opposite cases have also been found.
General trends of tuition
It has been seen that most school children need math tuition in Singapore. This is because the elements of mathematics that are taught to school children are actually beyond their capability to understand in such a place. It has also been observed that the same students, when exposed to tuitions where they get some extra care, have exhibited outstanding capabilities at a very tender age. The human brain is a storehouse of power of assimilation. The job of a teacher is to make a person use his brain by exposing him to the fun side of any subject and taking him to the mundane side later. This makes a student increase his interest in the related field and he can then capture the complexities well enough.
What happens in a tuition that is different from school?
Most students need to go to tuitions because tuitions offer some things that no school can offer. Such things are:
a. Personal care: In a school, as per empirical surveys on schools and math tuition, the average number of students in a class is 50. The teacher is 1 for each subject. So the teacher to student ratio is 1:50. In such a setting the teacher doesn't get a lot of exposure towards every student. Neither does the student get an exposure towards the teacher. In tuition the ratio is at most 1:5. So tuition has a better learning experience to offer.
b. Quality of teaching: Recruitment in a school is affected by features such as nepotism, wrong teacher for a subject, substitution, frequent teacher change by way of transfer, retirement etc. But in tuition the teachers who are selected are very well qualified and are willing to teach. A tuition never puts the wrong teacher to a job, neither does a transfer takes place often.
Science tuition is also very upcoming because science subjects are technical in nature and school teacher are less likely to grow interest in the student.
